The beginning of the New Year is symbolic for marking a time in which changes are about to occur and the new is welcomed with open arms. This holds true as well for Devil Dog USA, Inc. and in the coming months there will be many changes that will be revealed.
Our organization would like to welcome Debbie Powers as our new Chief Operations Officer.
Originally the Community Advocate for Devil Dog USA, Inc. Debbie has been with us the longest. During our first office opening she visited to introduce herself as well as find out about our organization. Immediately after finding out about our mission, Debbie offered to volunteer her time and any resources that were needed. Her first donation to us was bottled water and it continues to this day.
Forthright with a healthy sense of humor, Debbie has been paramount in offering advice to staff and for the organization as a whole. Along with donations of water she also takes on the task of outreach within the community by talking to key individuals about Devil Dog USA, Inc. mission or advertising events on social media.
Now as the Chief Operations Officer, Debbie will be one of the first point of contacts for our organization in order to continue outreach, organize events, and bring in donations.
Sergeant Gonzalo Duran, Chief Executive Officer of Devil Dog USA Inc., would like to say farewell to Rosa Perlata and welcome Debbie Powers. Although it is sad that Rosa is stepping down, we are happy with her progression into her new position in the health care field. Her work and presence in the organization is solidified and will continue to be felt over the years.
Welcome Debbie, we are excited to see what the new year will bring!
