I had the honor of speaking with the two directors of Mt. Nebo Grand Lodge regarding Veteran issues. We discussed how we could collaborate to help the community with each others resources. By the end of the conversation, they had offered me a position as their Veteran and community liaison, and I graciously accepted.

The best part of the day was getting a great free hair cut through their Master Barber program and I plan to be a regular. FYI – the staff at Devil Dog USA are happy that no shave November is over…

The best part of the day was him offering to join in our new Veteran campaign in lowering the suicide rate. We are all aware of the #22ADay, well ours is #22HugsADay. How awesome is that!

During week 5 training session, we were invited by General Joseph Ronda of the Star of the Sea – Sea Cadet Corps . We spoke regarding much needed equipment for the Cadets and possible collaborations in the future. The best part of the day was watching Gen. Ronda teach leadership skills to our young future leaders.

On October 11, 2016 the CEO of Devil Dog USA Inc. Sgt. Gonzalo Duran met with the owner of Bella Pizza (Hasan Ademaj) and the President of the Albanian American Society Foundation, Inc. (Esad A. Rizai) regarding their upcoming Veteran’s Day event.
Besides speaking about the services Devil Dog USA Inc. provides to the Veterans and community, they also discussed politics and possible upcoming projects.
Both organizations decided they will donate the catering fees for Devil Dog USA Inc.’s Veterans Day event. The conversation ended with pizza and a toast to soldiers lost in war.

Tremont United Methodist Church
The church located in Washington Avenue of the Bronx, New York area has openly welcomed the staff of Devil Dog USA Inc. into their house of worship. Why is this news worthy?
With the 1st word in the organization’s name, it tends to lose 50% of the overall business. For military terminology its common knowledge; what and who Devil Dogs are. The non military community has taken some time to accept us but we hope this is the start of a great relationship.
